Basilica and Walter's Art Museum

On Wednesday, after their swim workout, I took the kids down to Baltimore to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, America's first Catholic Cathedral, and then we went to the Walter's Art Museum, which was a few blocks away. Nathaniel had been bugging me for months to take him to the Walter's during Christmas break and I can't so "no" to a child who begs to see a museum! I thought while we were down there, we would check out the Basilica all decorated for Christmas and celebrate daily Mass. The kids really liked seeing the big Cathedral so beautifully decorated.

After that, we headed to the Walter's where we toured the entire museum. Jeremiah was getting a bit tired and needed to be carried, but other than that, everyone was super good. Of course, the big hit, as always, was the knight armor and the religious art work.
